Why Septic System is key to a Successful Waste Water System

All night soils run from the living areas to a solids holding tank. In the old days this was then led via overflow to a leach field where the sewage then soaked into the ground creating a massive potential health risk. In sandy soils or well drained soils this was less of a concern, but in clay based soils the sewage cannot filter through the sand and stays at surface level creating a stink, attracting unwanted insects and generating harmful bacteria.
